Understanding Hypnotherapy
Many people are curious about hypnotherapy but aren’t always sure what to expect. Some arrive feeling excited. Others feel a little nervous.
Many simply want to know one thing: “Will I still be in control?”
The answer is yes.
Hypnotherapy is a gentle, collaborative approach that works with your natural ability to focus your attention, helping you explore new ways of thinking, responding and moving forward.
You remain aware throughout the session and cannot be made to do, say or believe anything that goes against your values or wishes. Rather than losing control, many people tell me they experience a wonderful sense of calm, clarity and relaxation.

Every Session Is Tailored To You
One of the things that makes Nurturing Change different is that I don’t believe in delivering the same session to every client.
Your experiences are unique. Your goals are unique. Your support should be too.
Whilst hypnotherapy may form an important part of our work together, it is often integrated with other evidence-informed approaches, such as Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Integral Eye Movement Technique (IEMT) or coaching where appropriate.
This allows each session to remain responsive to your progress rather than following a fixed formula.
