Time and Space to Learn, Reflect and Reconnect
Life can move at an incredible pace.
Between work, family, responsibilities and everyday demands, it can be difficult to find time to stop, think and simply breathe.
Sometimes stepping away from our normal routine, even for a few hours, can create the clarity you’ve been searching for.
Whether you join me for an evening workshop, a day retreat or a longer residential experience, my aim is always the same. To create a welcoming environment where you feel safe, supported and able to focus on yourself.

Every workshop and retreat offered through Nurturing Change has been created with care and purpose.
Some focus on personal wellbeing. Some encourage learning and professional development. Others provide opportunities for reflection, healing and connection.
Whatever the theme, you’ll find a relaxed and supportive atmosphere where everyone is welcomed with kindness and respect. There is no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable sharing. Simply come as you are.

Although every event is different, you can expect:
Many people tell me that they leave feeling calmer, clearer and more connected with themselves.

Throughout the year I offer a variety of workshops designed to inspire, educate and support personal development. Topics may include:
Whether you’re attending for the first time or returning for another workshop, every session offers an opportunity to learn something new about yourself. offer a range of services including one-on-one coaching, group coaching and workshops.
These services are designed to help clients overcome obstacles, improve their mind health and achieve their goals.

Sometimes a few uninterrupted hours can make a real difference. Sometimes we need longer.
Retreats provide the opportunity to step away from everyday distractions and immerse yourself in an environment designed to nurture rest, reflection and renewal.
These experiences are carefully planned to allow you time to slow down, reconnect with yourself and return home with renewed clarity and perspective.
There is no expectation to “be someone different.”
Simply permission to be yourself.

One of the comments I hear most often is:
“I haven’t felt this relaxed in a very long time.”
That is one of the greatest compliments anyone can give. Because before change happens, before confidence grow, before clarity return, people often need something much simpler.
They need to feel safe. That is the environment I strive to create at every workshop, retreat and event.

My workshops and retreats welcome adults from all walks of life.
Some people attend because they are navigating a difficult chapter in life. Others come because they enjoy learning, investing in themselves or spending time with like-minded people.
There is no expectation that you have previous experience of therapy, coaching or holistic practices.
Only a willingness to give yourself permission to pause.

Life rarely gives us permission to stop. Sometimes we have to give ourselves that permission.
If you’re looking for time to reflect, learn, recharge or simply reconnect with what matters most, I’d be delighted to welcome you to one of my workshops or retreats.
Whatever season of life you’re experiencing, there is always space for hope, there is always room for growth and there is always a way forward.

Not only a therapist and mentor, but a trusted wellbeing educator and facilitator across the community.
Wherever we meet, whether in a one-to-one session, a workshop, a retreat or a business setting, oyou’ll find the same warm welcome, the same professional standards and the same commitment to helping you move forward with confidence.

Nurturing Change is proud to sponsor the football strips for a girls’ grassroots football team based in Accrington.
For me, this sponsorship has a very personal meaning.
My brother Michael loved football. He played for his school, for his local grassroots club and for Leicester City Under 16s. For his local team, he was the highest goalscorer of the season.
Michael died suddenly from Meningococcal Septicaemia halfway through that season.
His team went on to win the league.
Perhaps that is one of the reasons I have always understood that grassroots football is about far more than what happens during a match.
It gives children an opportunity to be part of something. They learn to work together, encourage one another, manage disappointment, celebrate each other’s successes and keep going when things don’t quite go their way. They develop fitness, coordination and agility, but they are also developing confidence, friendships, resilience and a sense of belonging.
And behind every grassroots team are people giving their time to make all of that possible. So, a heartfelt thank you to the coaches, organisers, parents and volunteers who give up evenings, weekends and precious hours of their own time to create these opportunities for the children.
And to the girls wearing the Nurturing Change sponsored strips; enjoy every muddy pitch, every goal, every save, every laugh, every win and even the matches that don’t quite go your way. Be proud of your team. Support one another.
And most importantly, enjoy playing the game you love.
For Nurturing Change, sponsoring these strips is a small way of supporting something much bigger: children, community and belonging.
